With working laboratories, state-of-the-art media and technology, and ambitious outreach programs – the groundbreaking Nature Research Center is a global hub that connects researchers and citizens across the world to address the issues our planet is facing. For its 3 floors of exhibits, batwin + robin produced more than 55 innovative experiential media exhibits on subjects like conservation biology, climate change, bio-design and deep-sea exploration.

For the spectacular Daily Planet, an immersive 3-story tall spherical theater, b + r created 50 stunning ambient video stories on subjects ranging from Mars to microbes, displaying the wonders of nature and science with theatrical lighting and sound design.

The museum’s Nature Research Center, an 80,000-square-foot wing that opened in April 2012, seeks to inspire the next generation of scientists by demystifying the research process. Three floors are packed with interactive opportunities…
